French President Nicolas Sarkozy will visit the United States on Nov. 6-7, White House spokesman Tony Fratto said Friday.
U.S. President George W. Bush will host his French counterpart in the White House on Nov. 6 and the two will visit Mount Vernon, the home of the first U.S. president George Washington, on Nov. 7,Fratto said.
The two leaders are expected to discuss Iran's nuclear issue, Iraq, the Middle East peace and other issues, Fratto said.
Bilateral ties between the United States and France have improved after Sarkozy came to power in May. He met with Bush on the sidelines of the G-8 summit in June and later visited Bush's family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine, in August. Source:Xinhua
