Illinois Senator Barack Obama on Wednesday won the Democratic caucuses in his native state Hawaii, his 10th straight triumph over Hillary Rodham Clinton in their struggle for the Democratic presidential nomination.

U.S. media reported Wednesday that Obama would carry the Pacific Ocean state, where 20 delegates are at stake

The African American candidate has prevailed in two more primaries in Washington and Wisconsin.

He has added to 1,301 the number of the delegates who would vote for him at the party's presidential nominee convention late August, leading Clinton by 62.

Obama's string of victories since Feb. 5 has given him an edge in pledged delegates to the party's convention, leaving Clinton inneed of dominant victories in the big-state contests of Ohio and Texas on March 4 as well as Pennsylvania on April 22, to catch up.
