U.S. Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad said Thursday the UN Security Council will vote on a draft resolution imposing further sanctions against Iran for its controversial nuclear program.

"We have agreed with the co-sponsors ... with regard to the resolution on Iran nonproliferation issue, and to vote on Saturday," Khalilzad told reporters after attending a council meeting on Iran.
