A girl in Clinton's campaign ad "3 a.m." has made it clear that she prefers Sen. Barack Obama, media reported Tuesday.
Casey Knowles of Seattle said she didn't see the ad until Jon Stewart lampooned it Thursday on "The Daily Show" and was shocked to see herself tacitly supporting Clinton.
The video footage of Knowles was filmed 8 years ago when she was working as a television extra, and purchased by the Clinton campaign for the ad, but she has no control over how her image is used.
In the ad, a narrator describes a phone ringing in the White House: "It's 3 a.m. and your children are soundly asleep....Who do you want answering the phone?" Clinton, picks up the phone, working diligently to solve America's problems.
What makes the ad ironic is Knowles has been campaigning for Obama for months and served as a precinct captain for his Washington state campaign in February.
"I think it would be wonderful if me and Barack Obama could get together and make a nice counter-ad," Knowles told the interviewer.
