At least three people, including a girl, were injured on Wednesday by an explosion caused by an explosive device left there by unidentified people in a commercial sector in Colombia's capital, Bogota, the police reported.
The injured were transferred to San Jose Hospital some meters away from where the explosion occurred.
"They placed a low caliber explosive device. We are investigating with explosive technicians. There is a 20 million peso reward (some 10,000 U.S. dollars) for whoever gives us information on those responsible," said metropolitan police commander general Rodolfo Palomino.
Raul Herrera, owner of a commercial property, was injured and related the attack to threats they received some days ago from alleged rebels.
"They called us by phone and told us that if we did not pay some money they would attack our families, they called us two times," said Herrera.
