A TV station in Chile's capital Santiago was evacuated following a bomb alert Wednesday morning, the second such alert in the city this week.
Chilevision received an anonymous call warning of the bomb just after 6:00 am. It later turned out to be a hoax.
Police closed all roads surrounding the station, while they investigated the scene.
On Tuesday, the subway service in Chile's capital Santiago was suspended for about half an hour after a suspected bomb was found in one of the stations. It turned out to be a false alarm.
Media attributed the bomb threats to radical groups. According to Reuters' reports, Chile's government said Wednesday it would come down hard on radical groups believed to be behind the bomb threats this week. Source:Xinhua
