Venezuela bus crash kills 13 people, injures 19 |

At least 13 people died and another 19 were injured in Venezuela Monday when a bus hit a truck head on in the western central Venezuelan state of Portuguesa.
The bus, carrying 32 people, drove on the opposite lane on the Flecha de Piritu Highway to avoid a crashed car but ended up being involved in a head-on collision with the truck, rescuers said. The injured had been taken to nearby health centers and the number of dead could rise.
In another road accident Sunday, 10 people died and another 20 were injured when a bus carrying 40 people overturned and caught fire in the western state of Zulia.
During the Easter vacation that began last Wednesday, 86 people were killed in road accidents or drowned in rivers across Venezuela's 23 states.
