Police investigation was underway Sunday after three children had been found stabbed to death in a mobile home in western Canada, according to reports reaching here.
The tragedy happened in a town called Merritt of western British Colombia province in Canada. A woman came home in the afternoon and found her three children stabbed to death, neighbors said.
There are conflicting reports as to whether a man was found dead in the home with the children, or whether he is on the loose.
The oldest girl was about 10 years old, and the younger boys were about seven and four, one neighbor said.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police has yet disclosed any details about the case.
Merritt is located 270 km east of Vancouver.
