U.S. President George W. Bush called UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Tuesday and the two leaders discussed Afghanistan, Kosovo, Zimbabwe and Darfur, White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said.
Perino, however, gave no details about what the two leaders discussed.
Bush hosted the UN chief in the White House in February and the two leaders have enjoyed a warm relationship.
