A fire broke out Tuesday in a commercial building in the southern region of Sao Paulo, Brazil's biggest city, near the airport of Congonhas.
At least 10 vehicles from the local fire-fighters department and local hospitals were seen on the scene, reported the television channel Globo.
Globo has reported that a commercial plane of the company Pantanal collided with the building, but the company denied.
Police said the fire would have been caused by explosion of two gas cylinders in a mattress shop but the manager of the building said the fire was caused by short circuit.
The building was evacuated and there's no report about casualties so far, according to Globo.
Infraero, state-run company that supervises Brazil's airports, declared that all operations of take-off and landing in the airport of Congonhas were normal. Source:Xinhua
