Fidel Castro is an eternal example of a revolutionary, visiting Congo's Minister of Culture and Arts Esdras Kambale Baekwa said Wednesday.
"His fight in favor of the oppressed people would never be forgotten," said Baekwa during the International Symposium Cubadisco 2008, the most important event of the disco-graphic industry in the country.
"It is necessary that Africa has the spirit of independence Fidel Castro inspirits," added Baekwa.
Fidel Castro, Cuba's leader from 1959 to 2008, announced his retirement in February and was replaced by Raul Castro.
