Two small quakes jolted part of the San Francisco Bay area on Friday, but there was no immediate report of damage or injuries.
The first quake, measured at 3.0 magnitude, struck the bay area at 1:51 a.m. Friday, to be followed by a second 3.5-magnitude quake which occurred in the same area 11 minutes later, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
The USGS said the temblors were about 19 miles (30.4 kilometers)east of downtown San Francisco.
