At least 39 people died from two cliff-fall accidents Saturday in Bolivia, said local authorities on Sunday.

According to reports reaching here, Bolivian Highways Police said a truck carrying vegetables and 20 passengers lost control and went down a 120-meter cliff on the road from Cochabamba, a central province of Bolivia, to Oruro, a southwestern province.

By midday Sunday after the rescue was over, 11 women, five men and four children have been confirmed dead.

Meanwhile, a bus fell over a 150-meter cliff in Cochabamba, killing 19 people immediately, said local police Sunday.

The injured were under medical treatment in a nearby clinic.
