Landslides have killed eight people including four children in northeastern Colombia, rescue workers said.
Four persons were killed in two separate accidents as their vehicles were buried under the mud and rocks.
Another four lost their lives when their houses were smashed by a powerful landslide.
Heavy seasonal rain has triggered hundreds of landslides since March, leaving over 400,000 people injured.
The rain is likely to intensify in the coming days, Colombia's National Emergency Service said Thursday. Source: Xinhua
