Argentina Friday described as "unacceptable" a free-trade proposal put forward by the World Trade Organization chief Pascal Lamy and urged "more work" on the document, said a government statement.

"For us, the document as it is is unacceptable," said Argentine trade negotiator and Foreign Minister Jorge Taiana after a meeting of ministers in Geneva to revive the deadlocked free-trade talks.
