Two people were killed and two others survived after a helicopter crashed in Canada's British Columbia province Wednesday, rescue officials said.
The Hughes MD-500D helicopter plunged upside down into the Kitsault River near Alice Arm, about 150 kilometers northeast of Prince Rupert, according to the Victoria Rescue Coordination Center.
Two search-and-rescue technicians parachuted into the site and found two of the helicopter's four occupants had died.
The condition of the survivors was not immediately known.
This is the second fatal air accident in the province in less than a week, after a plane crash on Vancouver Island on Sunday killed five people.
