The governments of Venezuela and Argentina began on Wednesday the construction of a railway, which will connect Caracas with Buenos Aires.

Venezuelan Infrastructure Minister Isidro Rondon and Argentine Ambassador to Venezuela Alicia Castro attended the inauguration ceremony, which was held in the train station of La Rinconada.

"It's a realizable utopia, a train that can cross from north to south of the South American territory," Castro said during the inauguration.
