More rallies are planned at the site of the Republican National Convention as protests entered their third day in St Paul, Minnesota, on Wednesday.

Protesters vowed to continue demonstrations until the convention ends Thursday, according to Fox News. So far, police have arrested some 300 protestors.

On Monday, about 280 protestors were arrested in an anti-war demonstration which involved some 10,000 people.

Another 10 arrests were made Tuesday during a march against poverty which drew about 2,000 people. The march was tense but not as widespread and violent as events the day before.
