Colombian Defense Minister Juan Manuel Santos said Monday that a lot of useful information was found on three computers seized during an attack on a rebel camp last week.

"We found three computers and some 40 USB memory sticks which have been checked by the authorities, and there is valuable information on the identification of the military and financial structure of the illegal armed group," Santos said, referring to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), the country's largest anti-government group.

Santos said the newly-found information surpassed that found on the computer seized during a March attack against a FARC camp in terms of amount and value.

During last week's operation, nine FARC members were killed but a FARC leader known as "Jorge 40" ran away injured with four gunmen, the minister said.
