Peru honors Hungarian president with insignia |

Peruvian President Alan Garcia awarded visiting Hungarian President Laszlo Solyom with the order of The Sun of Peru -- Great Cross with Brilliants on Wednesday.
The insignia is awarded to people who have made great contributions to defending political freedom, human dignity, social and environmental rights.
Speaking highly of Solyom, Carcia told reporters that his Hungarian counterpart is a great protector of environment.
Carcia added that they had also discussed the possibility of creating an environment ministry in Peru.
Solyom arrived here on Wednesday from Chile, where he paid a two-day visit.
