Seven were killed in a plane crash on an island off the British Columbia's south coast on Sunday, rescuers said.
Seven of the eight people on board the Grumman Goose airplane have been found dead, said the Joint Rescue Coordination Center in Victoria.
One man who had survived the accident walked away from the crash and was found by the Canadian Coast Guard on the beach of Thormanby Island, it said.
The aircraft was a commercial plane owned by Pacific Coastal Airlines, according to local media. It was carrying workers to a hydroelectric project on the coast of British Columbia.
