Police seized 586 kg of marijuana Monday in southern Brazil, local media reported Tuesday.
It's the second largest drug seizure in the southern state of Santa Catarina, after police seized a ton of marijuana in May.
The drug was found hidden inside a pickup truck, wrapped in strips of leather, whose strong smell helped disguise that of marijuana.
Police arrested two suspects thanks to a tip-off, including the truck's driver, 46-year-old Francisco Pereira Martins, and his anonymous partner.
Police said the drug was bought in Paraguay and would be sold in Joinville, in Santa Catarina.
The two arrestees are accused of drug trafficking. If convicted, they would face five to 15 years in prison.
