Honduran Health Minister Carlos Aguilar said on Monday lab tests in the United States have ruled out the eight cases of A/H1N1.

"The eight samples sent to U.S. were negative," Aguilar said at a press conference at the Government House.

"Honduras sent the samples to a lab in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States one week ago after there were patient highly suspicious of having this disease," Aguilar said.

"In this way, currently there are no confirmed case in the country," Aguilar said.

The country sent one more sample to the United States on Monday.
