As Golden Eagle International Group recently has become the sixth partner of the US pavilion at the World Expo 2010 Shanghai, the funding issues that have long plagued the US team are expected to have been resolved.

Affected by the financial crisis, the US team has made slow progress with fundraising. Although there are just 333 days remaining until the official opening of the Shanghai World Expo, they are still making last-minute efforts to finalize preparations for the exhibition.

In accordance with relevant US laws, construction of the national pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo cannot be financed by the government. Instead, private firms and nongovernmental organizations will be authorized by the US Department of State to participate in the Expo, and they should raise funds independently.

The non-profit organization Shanghai Expo 2010 Inc., which was established March 2008, is responsible for the design, preparation and operation of the US pavilion at the World Expo 2010 Shanghai.
