Ecuadorian president visits Venezuela

Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa arrived here Wednesday for an official visit to meet with his Venezuelan counterpart Hugo Chavez to review bilateral agreements.
Correa, accompanied by Foreign Minister Fander Falconi and LuisJaramillo, head of state oil company PetroEcuador, was received at Caracas Maiquetia International Airport by Venezuelan Vice President Ramon Carrizales.
During the visit, the two presidents will review bilateral projects and agreements on energy, science, technology, tourism and other strategic sectors.
The visit is also part of the political coordination mechanism proposed by the Bolivarian Alliance for the Americas.
