Three injured in fire at U.S. military's Atsugi base: report

A fire broke out at an unused hangar on the U.S. military's Atsugi base in Kanagawa Prefecture shortly past noon on Saturday, with three Japanese people sustaining burns, police and firefighters said.

The fire was extinguished about one hour later, they said, adding they are investigating the incident, according to Kyodo News.
