Bolivian President Evo Morales was reelected on Sunday with 62 to 65 percent of the votes for the term 2010-1015, according to the first opinion polls given by three local TV channels.

According to the polls his closest rivals Manfred Reyes of the Bolivian Project Plan had between 23 and 25 percent and Samuel Doria of the National Unity Party who had nine percent of the votes.

The difference between Morales and Reyes is of about 40 percent, which discards the possibility of a second lap as it was expected by the opposition.

According to the polls, the referendum for the autonomy of Chuquisaca, La Paz, Oruro, Potosi and Santa Cruz departments saw an approval rate of 70 to 78 percent, so they will join the other four already autonomous departments.

Morales was elected president the first time on December 2005, with 53.7 percent of the votes, and four year later he increased his votes in favor by 10 percentage points, which shows the consolidation of his government plan and policy of democratic revolution.

The National Electoral Court said on Sunday that it will announce the official outcomes in less then one week, but the quick counting will be ready in some 48 hours.

More than 5.1 million Bolivians were registered to vote on Sunday in the elections that will produce a new president, a vice president, 130 deputies and 36 senators.
