Russia has strongly condemned Tuesday's terrorist acts in Algiers, which killed at least 67 people.
"Moscow strongly condemns the vile attacks of terrorists, which claim the lives of innocent people," Itar-Tass news agency quoted Foreign Ministry spokesman Mikhail Kamynin as saying on Tuesday.
"We reaffirm our support and solidarity with friendly Algeria in the fight against extremism and terrorism," said the diplomat.
The two car bombings, one targeted the offices of the U.N. refugee agency and the other exploded near the Algerian Supreme Court building, have left over 100 others injured.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks so far.
