Scandinavian countries condemn assassination of Bhutto |

Norway, Sweden and Denmark on Thursday strongly condemned the assassination of Pakistan's former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, reports reaching here said.
Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg said the incident dealt a "heavy blow" to the efforts to restore democracy in Pakistan.
He expressed the hope that the country's efforts to resume normal order would not stop.
Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt said he was worried about the impact of Bhutto's assassination, and hoped Pakistan's parliamentary elections would go ahead as scheduled in January.
Danish Foreign Minister Per Stig Moeller said the assassination was a "terrorist act" and urged all political forces in Pakistan to work together to maintain peace and stability in the country.
Bhutto died Thursday evening in hospital after sustaining fatal wounds in a boming attack during an election rally at the Liaquat Bagh park in Rawalpindi, some 30 km south of Islamabad.
Pakistan's Interior Ministry said that at least 10 people were killed and dozens wounded in the attack.
