A terrorist blast killed two people and injured 15 others on Thursday in Georgia's breakaway region of South Ossetia, Russian news agencies reported.

"An explosion occurred at a police post in the village of Kokhat on Thursday. According to the preliminary information, two people are dead. There are wounded, as well," Irina Gagloyeva, Chairperson of the South Ossetian Information and Press Committee, was quoted by the Interfax news agency as saying.
