Dozens of Basque separatists clashed with police during a right-wing rally Saturday in Spain's northern seaside resort city of San Sebastian, according to news reaching Madrid.

The separatists crowded around the rally-goers, shouting them "the terrorists." Police who were guarding the rally used rubber bullets to disperse them.

The rally, held at the central Pio XII plaza, was convened by the Falange party that linked to former dictator Gen. Francisco Franco. Participants gathered to listen to speeches from leaders Ricardo Saenz de Ynestrillas and Manuel Andrino.
