Merkel to meet Putin, Medvedev in Moscow |

German Chancellor Angela Merkel will meet the outgoing Russian President Vladimir Putin and his successor Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow on Saturday, the German chancellor's office said Tuesday.
The chancellor will travel to Moscow for a "working visit" at Putin's invitation, said the office in a statement
Merkel will also hold talks with Russian president-elect Dmitry Medvedev, it said.
Merkel has congratulated Medvedev on his victory in Russia's presidential election and wished to further extend Germany's ties with Russia.
Medvedev, who won the election with a landslide victory on Sunday, is expected to take office in May.
