U.S. President George W. Bush will be in Romania over April 1-4 to take part in the NATO summit and pay a bilateral visit, Romania's Presidential Administration said in a release on Friday.
On this occasion, the American president will go to Constanta County of southeastern Romania and will have consultations with Romanian President Traian Basescu at Neptun resort, the release revealed, adding that the two heads of state will give a joint news conference at the end of the meeting.
According to the same source, the agenda of the talks will include priority subjects of the Romanian-American strategic partnership as well as topical international questions.
They will also survey the agenda of the NATO summit with emphasis on aspects referring to the enlargement of the alliance, the consolidation of the cooperation with partner countries as well as the promotion of security and democratic values all over Europe.
Romania is to host the NATO summit in Bucharest on April 2-4.
