Brown: Britain not to boycott Beijing Olympic Games

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said on Thursday that Britain would not boycott the opening ceremonies for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

"We will not be boycotting the Olympic Games," Brown said at a news conference with French President Nicolas Sarkozy after their talks.

"Britain will be attending the Olympic Games ceremonies," Brown said.
