Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko on Thursday hailed U.S. President George W. Bush's upcoming visit to Ukraine, saying it will strengthen bilateral relations.
"Ukraine is preparing for U.S. President Bush's trip. We expect his visit to give a big impetus to our economic relations," Tymoshenko told reporters after meeting with foreign diplomats in Kiev.
"I think the two sides will sign very serious documents during the visit," Tymoshenko added.
Bush's visit is scheduled between March 31 and April 1, ahead of NATO's summit in Bucharest, capital of Romania, where the 26-nation alliance is due to discuss Ukraine's bid to join NATO's membership action plan.
