The foreign ministers of Finland, Sweden and Norway Monday emphasized the importance of the cooperation among the three Nordic countries at a press conference held in Helsinki, Finnish capital.

Finnish Foreign Minister Ilkka Kanerva held talks with visiting Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt and Norwegian Foreign MinisterJonas Gahr Store in Helsinki on Monday. The three foreign ministers held the joint press conference after they met.

The foreign ministers from Nordic countries discussed foreign, security and political issues of current interest to all the three countries.

They also discussed the international crisis management, strengthening of cooperation in regional questions and in the northern regions as well as the relations with Russia.
