Polish President Lech Kaczynski will leave for Bucharest on Wednesday to attend a NATO summit during which Poland will confirm its strong support for Ukraine's and Georgia's inclusion in the Membership Action Plan (MAP).
Poland will also come out for inviting Croatia, Albania and Macedonia to join NATO, Polish news agency PAP reported.
The Polish president will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, Defense Minister Bogdan Klich and Chief of the Polish Army General Staff Franciszek Gagor.
The NATO summit will focus on NATO's mission in Afghanistan, situation in Kosovo and Iraq, missile defense system and NATO's relations with Russia.
While in Bucharest the Polish president will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and presidents of France Nicolas Sarkozy, Lithuania Valdas Adamkus and Latvia Valdis Zalters.
