Two Polish soldiers were injured on Monday when their Humvee vehicle hit a roadside bomb in the Ghazni province of Afghanistan, Polish news agency PAP reported.

The life of wounded soldiers is not in danger, and their condition has been described as stable, PAP quoted spokesman for the Polish Armed Forces operational command Dariusz Kacperczak as saying.

The soldiers were transferred to a military hospital in Salerno, according to the spokesman.

Poland's ISAF force currently numbers about 1,200 troops. Their number will go up to 1,600.
