The daily average oil prices of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) kept hitting new high and set a new record Wednesday with 106.65 U.S. dollars per barrel (dpb), the Vienna-based cartel said Thursday.
The prices have kept rising since the beginning of this week, setting three price records in three consecutive trading days. After reaching 104.02 dpb Monday, the prices soared further to 105.73 dpb Tuesday and boosted 0.92 dollars higher Wednesday.
