Russian police in St. Petersburg detained 10 pro-Nazis Monday on suspicion of murder, the Interfax news agency reported.
"The detainees were marking Adolph Hitler's birthday in the Victory Park at about 7:00 p.m. (1500 GMT) on April 20. They drank alcohol and mistook three young men for members of the AntiFa (anti-fascist) movement. They attacked the trio and stabbed Denis Jazdauckis in the stomach," police said.
Jazdauckis died of his injuries.
Police found nationalist clothing and hard discs containing nationalist information at the homes of the suspects, eight of whom are students.
Three of the detainees have been arrested, while the others were released on their own recognizance, the Interfax report said.
