Eleven people were killed and four others injured in two separate traffic accidents in central Russia and in the Volga area, the RIA Novosti news agency reported Sunday.
A BMW sedan swerved into the oncoming lane on a highway early Sunday in Russia's Vladimir Region and collided with a Russian-made Zhiguli car. The drivers and all the four passengers in both cars were killed on the spot, the RIA cited local police as saying.
A similar traffic accident occurred on the same day. Five people were killed and four others injured in a head-on collision between two vehicles in the Saratov region in Russia's Volga area, the RIA reported.
