Russia's new president Dmitry Medvedev and his Libyan counterpart Mouammar Ghaddafi vowed on Sunday to implement agreements inked in the last bilateral summit in a bid to bolster ties, news agencies reported.
The head of states stressed during their phone talks that "the swiftest possible implementation of these agreements will add new dynamics to bilateral cooperation," Interfax cited Kremlin sources as saying.
Gaddafi congratulated Medvedev on his inauguration that was held on May 7 and wished him successes in his activity for the benefit of the Russian people, said the Kremlin.
