Four security zones will be built at the planned U.S. radar base on Czech soil, the Czech Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
The first security zone will be the border of the Brdy military district, some 90 km southwest of capital Prague, at which the radar is to be based, the Czech news agency CTK quoted the ministry as saying.
The second security zone will be the external border of the base alone, the ministry pointed out, according to the ministry.
The third one will be the area with the accommodation facility and canteen at the base, the ministry said.
The fourth one will be the internal fence encircling the radar, the ministry added.
Furthermore, a no-fly zone will be created above the radar base, CTK said.
The United States plans to build a radar base in the Czech Republic, along with an interceptor missile base in Poland, but Warsaw has yet to agree to the move.
