Two soldiers were killed and three others wounded in an attack on an army car in the south Russian region of Ingushetia on Thursday afternoon, the country's Interior Ministry said.
The incident occurred at 3.30 p.m. Moscow time (1130 GMT) in a village of Ingushetia's Malgobek district, the Itar-Tass news agency quoted the ministry as stating.
Unidentified gunmen in a white VAZ-2107 sedan opened fire on the army car as it was on its way from Vladikavkaz to Mozdok.
