Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan from July 3-5, the Itar-Tass news agency reported Friday.
"The governments and ministries are to draft documents that might be signed," a Kremlin official was quoted as saying.
Medvedev met with his Turkmen and Azerbaijani counterparts Friday at an informal summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) leaders in St. Petersburg.
The Russian president received the invitation to visit Turkmenistan in March, shortly after he won a landslide victory in the presidential elections, while Azerbaijan invited Medvedev to visit in May.
The first foreign visits following his inauguration on May 7 brought Medvedev to Kazakhstan and China on May 22-24. He arrived in Germany Thursday on his first European trip after taking office. Source:Xinhua
