European Union (EU) foreign ministers on Monday postponed a decision to definitely lift sanctions on Cuba.

The EU Presidency Slovenia said a decision was expected to be made by the foreign ministers when they meet on the sidelines of a EU summit later this week.

"The foreign ministers' debate on Cuba is postponed to Thursday," the EU Presidency said.
