Two German nationals were killed on Monday when a small airplane in where they took crashed in central Slovenia.
The airplane crashed on Monday near Rakitnik, 50 km south of the Slovenian capital Ljubljana, just 200 meters from the small sports airport Rakitnik where the plane was scheduled to land, the Slovenian news agency STA reported.
The passengers took off from an airport near Berlin and flew their German-made microlight aircraft Ikarus C42 to Slovenia, where they were supposed to meet a friend, said the reports.
The cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
