One man was killed, and more than 60 injured in a bus crash with a car in Staffordshire, west Midlands region of England, according to a report by BBC on Monday.
The double decker collided with the car, crashed through a wall and ended up in a garden in Alton, near Alton Towers theme park, just before 1800 BST, said the report.
Two people were airlifted to hospital from the scene and 16 others taken to hospital, said the report, citing ambulance officials.
According to the report, the passengers were thought to have been on a day trip to the theme park, and were thought to have been foreign workers from the Peterborough area.
Chief Inspector John Maddox, from Staffordshire Police, said that officers were investigating the cause of the collision.
"The bus was coming down a steep hill towards the bridge at the bottom, and from what I can see at the scene, that bus has not managed to go round the bend, and has careered through a wall and down a drop into a garden," he said.
It is reported that two air ambulances, 10 land ambulances, five rapid response vehicles and five fire engines had been sent to the scene.
