The Ukrainian parliament elected on Tuesday the Party of Regions' lawmaker Alexander Lavrynovych as first deputy speaker and the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc's Nikolai Tomenko as deputy speaker.
The legislature also passed amendments to the law on the cabinet of ministers and a series of bills on the facilitated procedure for the president's impeachment, the redistribution of influence on the Constitutional Court.
The "Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense" party accused the Yulia Tymoshenko's Bloc of colluding with the Party of Regions, the biggest opposition party, during the votes and threatened to quit the ruling coalition.
