Moderate earthquake jolts southeastern Turkey |

A earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale shook southeastern Turkey on Wednesday, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.
The report said that the quake hit Samsat town of Adiyaman province at 05:22 local time (0249 GMT), damaging some houses in the region, but no casualties was available until now.
Earthquakes are frequent in Turkey which lies on active fault lines. Two devastating earthquakes in the country in 1999 killed more than 18,000 people.
